It’s safe to say that Microsoft Sam has many talents, far beyond his main task of assisting us at installing our brand, new, shiny copy of Windows XP on our computers (yes, Windows XP; #OldSchoolCool). It appears that Microsoft Sam — after completing his duties, of course — likes to chill, kick back and relax, prepare himself a nice Piña Colada, and serenade the ladies with his own vocals of Rupert Holmes’ Escape. I can recall playing the id classic Doom on a myriad of devices, from computers, to home consoles (the SNES) and even on some portable systems, but could you imagine walking up to the ATMs at a local branch of your bank (or federal credit union; FCU’s FTW!) and after making a deposit, withdraw or transfer, you could play a few rounds of Doom? Well ladies and gentlemen, thanks to the work of a pair of Australian hackers, this automated teller machine from Bizarro-world exists and is just all kinds of awesome.
