Let’s get the main story out-of-the-way first. Okay; this past weekend at Paradise City Comic Con (in Miami, FL),  WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley saved two people cosplaying as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters Casey Jones and April O’Neil from being attacked by someone cosplaying as The Walking Dead‘s Negan by performing his Mandible Claw submission hold on him during a cosplay wrestling event. Using ‘The Walking Dead’ Game To Teach Ethics in Schools? YEAH!

I love Telltale’s The Walking Dead series — which I am STILL playing through Season 1 because I am easily distracted and busy with work and THIS WEBSITE — a popular video game series famous for putting the player (i.e., YOU) in life-or-death ethical quandaries throughout the game, forcing you to make some pretty difficult decisions. Thankfully, creative teachers are STILL a thing, and a REALLY talented one could probably use the game to identify and explore those moral dilemmas as a discussion in class. YAY! Halloween Withdrawl? Check this Mega Ran & Richie Branson “The Ghouls ‘N Ghosts” EP

Are you still hankering for some residuals of some Halloween goodness, love video games and music based on said past-time of gaming?  Well then good sir/ma’am, Phoenix-based rapper Random (a.k.a. Mega Ran) and Richie Branson released the Halloween-themed The Ghouls ‘n Ghosts EP. Essentially  it’s a collection of song collaborations from various other albums,in addition of a couple of new tracks, including the titular “Ghouls ‘n Ghosts” that, of course, is inspired by the infuriatingly difficult classic game from the so-called “Mega Man Haters” (as declared by numerous angry gamers online), Capcom.  Continue reading “Halloween Withdrawl?
