A Look Back to Just Before Kurt Angle’s Return to a WWE Ring before TLC 2017…

For long-time WWE fans who were watching Sunday’s Tables-Ladders-Chairs pay-per-view, Kurt Angle’s return to in-ring competition with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose was an emotional ride. Although the company ignored his contributions and amazing matches in That Company That Shall Not Be Named Whatever Its Name Is This Week, the experience was something special and endearing, from how goofy he looked in the Shield SWAT gear to his ability to german-suplex all five members of the opposing team and deliver a series of Angle Slams. Some of us even shed a little tear after he secured the pin-fall victory for his team… Continue reading “A Look Back to Just Before Kurt Angle’s Return to a WWE Ring before TLC 2017…”

WWE’s Brock Lesnar Halloween Costume is Scarier Than THE REAL Brock Lesnar…

WWE Shop

We’re practically halfway through October, which means Starbuck’s Pumpkin Spice Lattes are selling like hotcakes (I swear, I NEVER say that), our North American cousins in Canada are celebrating their Thanksgiving while we Americans have to wait another month-and-a-half, and the Halloween season is in full swing. If you don’t have a costume for your wee wrestling-loving children yet, don’t worry — WWE has you covered. They’ve provided a bevy of costumes, each more uncomfortably terrifying than the last, to make sure that your little munchkins can dress up as their favorite Superstars. Or, well, a significantly more terrifying version. So, enjoy that upcoming options; or just run away screaming, because I wouldn’t blame you… Continue reading “WWE’s Brock Lesnar Halloween Costume is Scarier Than THE REAL Brock Lesnar…”

Let the WWE Roster Eat Cake (Off The Ground) & Celebrate a Year of ‘UpUpDownDown’

WWE Tag Team Champion and New Day member Xavier Woods (a.k.a. Austin Creed) recently celebrated the one-year anniversary of his popular YouTube gaming channel, UpUpDownDown.  Over the course of the year, the channel has featured the WWE Superstars play some of their favorite video games backstage (and we’re still waiting for that Vince McMahon episode).  The video above provides yet another example of UpUpDownDown’s charm of letting us better know the real-life personalities of the wrestlers we see on TV every Monday and Thursday (soon to be Tuesday) night. Brock Lesnar Destroys A Car Live AND in Street Fighter-Style…

Remember last week when #1 contender for the WWE World Championship Brock Lesnar beat up a car — that belonged to J&J Security — live on Monday Night Raw. Well, if you saw this AND you enjoy playing video games every now-and-then (sarcasm), then you know very well who else does that? That;s correct; Street Fighter characters. I would say “check out the answer after the break,” but I have a feeling you know where I’m going with this…

How WWE Champion Seth Rollins Helped The Golden State Warriors Win The NBA Finals

A couple of weeks ago, Monday Night RAW took place in Cleveland, Ohio, and WWE’s own Seth Rollins took to the ring to deliver an epic and flaming takedown of every Cleveland-based sports franchise, including giving Johnny “Football” Manziel (GIG ‘EM!) a very sophisticated insult of a name: Idiot Face. Clever Seth, REEEEAL clever….NOT!! Anyway, you can watch that clip above, as Seth also cruelly predicted that LeBron wasn’t going to bring the city an NBA Championship they’ve longed for.

Well, he certainly called it, huh? Continue reading “How WWE Champion Seth Rollins Helped The Golden State Warriors Win The NBA Finals”

WWE Champion Seth Rollins Once Moonsaulted Off A Fan!

We all know Seth Rollins (real name Colby Lopez) as the former Mr. Money-In-The-Bank, as he cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to win the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 31. But how about his past, before he was in The Shield? How about BEFORE he was NXT Champion? Or before he was the Ring of Honor Champion? Back in the day (before signing with WWE), Rollins was known as Tyler Black, and in the video above, here he is leaping off a fan to attack current ROH star Matt Sydal (formerly known as Evan Bourne in WWE) with a moonsault! Here’s A Funny WWE Match Contract For Ya’!

One of the staples of modern professional wrestling is the contract signing for an upcoming pay-per-view match (which never, EVER go wrong, right?).  There’s usually a covered table (that someone may get put through), some chairs for the soon-to-be participants will be seated in (and possibly get hit over the head with), very intense and intimidating verbal squabbles (that may lead to an all-out brawl), and of course, the signing of the contract for the highly-anticipated match. After the break, there’s a photo taken of the contract for a match at this past Sunday’s WWE Payback pay-per-view between Evolution (Triple H, Batista and Randy Orton) and The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns). It’s hard to make out the text in the photo at the bottom of the contract for that was used on the May 26th edition of RAW, but it’s visible enough to read the interesting message. Since I know that it’s become clear that I enjoy LEGO, Sonic The Hedgehog, do-it-yourself projects, and indie games, I haven’t been secretive of my appreciation for professional wrestlers Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) and Phillip Brooks (CM Punk — did that just blow your mind?).  Rather than just talking about a match, how about I show you in images how awesome these guys are? More after the break! Continue reading “And now…DANIEL BRYAN & CM PUNK MEMES!”
