Taking inspiration by the dolls’ house designed by Edwin Lutyens for The British Empire Exhibition way, WAY back in 1922, twenty British design firms took part in designing contemporary doll houses in aid of the disabled children’s charity KIDS. Each doll house was displayed on a 750mm square plinth when they were exhibited during this year’s London Design Festival (which took place on September 14th – 21st, 2013) before each entry was put up for auction.
