Nintendo Labo: What Do We Know It & Why Do I WANT IT SO MUCH?!?

Last week, Nintendo unveiled its “new interactive experience” for Nintendo Switch, called Nintendo Labo. Nintendo describes the Labo as a “new line of interactive build-and-play experiences that combine DIY creations with the magic of Nintendo Switch.” The Labo will allow Switch owners build cardboard versions of items — dubbed “Toy-Cons” by Nintendo — ranging from a 13-key piano, to a fishing rod, a bird house or even a motorbike. Brazilian architect Márcio Sequeira de Oliveira came up with the idea for this interactive model when he was overseeing a postgraduate course and was growing concerned with the abstract approach that was given to topics related to structure.

Do you remember wearing that stupid, oversized helmet that still had the stink of the prior person who used the unit? **shudders** Anyway, in a nut shell, we the public — as well as developers — were not ready for virtual reality. Nowadays, however, the advancements in technology and gaming have giving an opening for VR to make a comeback, and the belle of the ball is the Oculus Rift VR Gaming Headset from Oculus VR.   Continue reading Virtual Reality Dreams Realized with Oculus Rift!
