Jim Ross to Commentate MMA Fights; I Can Hear the Dub Videos now…

Shawn Michaels Reveals About ‘The Streak’ Ending on Jim Ross’s podcast

The Ross ReportRecently, Shawn Michaels was a guest on Jim Ross’ podcast, The Ross Report, and at around the forty-minute mark he revealed in the interview that the decision to end The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak — which I may of may not have ranted and resolved already… — was made roughly four hours before last month’s WrestleMania 30 program went to air.  Michaels stated that at the end of the day, the final and absolute decision came down to WWE owner and chairman, Vince McMahon.  Ross himself stated that he “wouldn’t be surprised if the decision for The Streak to end did not happen at the eleventh hour. Or the weekend of,” with Michaels confirming that is was “four hours” before that show began.

WWE Purchases the Mid-South Wrestling Library; Well I Be Dog-Gone!

It became very clear after World Wrestling Entertainment purchased the video libraries or Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, Jim Crockett Promotions, Smokey Mountain Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, and others that this trend would continue.  Well, after years of negotiations, Ene Watts and the Watts family agreed on a deal to sell about 1,200 hours of video from Mid-South Wrestling ‘s 1970s to 1980s TV programming and shows to the WWE for a undisclosed amount of cash.  Ene Watts, the ex-wife of WWE Hall of Famer “Cowboy” Bill Watts, had owned the footage as part of a divorce settlement.   Continue reading “WWE Purchases the Mid-South Wrestling Library; Well I Be Dog-Gone!”
