The Green/White Ranger To Make A Pro Wrestling Appearance For Booker T’s Promotion…

Jason David Frank, the MMA fighter best known as the Green and White Rangers from the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, is slated to make an appearance at a professional wrestling event.  The December 9th event is titled “Christmas Chaos,” and is being promoted by WWE Hall-of-Famer Booker T’s Houston-based wrestling promotion, called Reality of Wrestling, or ROW.  ROW is partnering with FITE TV to stream Christmas Chaos, which will be the promotion’s first pay-per-view event. Yes, the XFL will get a Physical Hall of Fame for a day in New York City…

Oh great googily-moogily, the X-F-L… Admittedly, I was a fan early on, as I was looking for an alternative to the NFL (though Arena Football was already scratching that itch). I had no issues with the NFL then (like I do now), but competition in the pro sports realm can be a positive thing. Well, we know how the XFL ended (not well), but this coming Super Bowl week in 2017, ESPN will debut it’s newest installment of their famed 30 for 30 series with the unbelievably-highly-anticipated “This Was The XFL”. Between that, ESPN’s coverage of the WWE on SportsCenter, and the 30 For 30 series working on a Ric Flair documentary, I am super amped! Ever since the WWE began it’s Hall of Fame (originally in memory of Andre the Giant), the club inducted many stars and executives involved in the wrestling business who inspired and paved the way for the wrestlers on modern-day. However, with the recent more-publicized era of the Hall of Fame (mainly thanks to the widely-promoted ceremony that takes place the night before WrestleMania), there’s been one glaring omission: the fact the “Macho Man” Randy Savage wasn’t in it. Mick Foley FINALLY Pinned Chris Jericho…at the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame Ceremony

On January 11 2013, WWE.com announced that Mick Foley would be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame on April 6, 2013 in New York City –the night before WrestleMania XXIX — and would be inducted by his long time friend Terry Funk.  During his induction speech, Foley talked about his days in the gym (which he admitted that not a lot of working out took place), how his family learned through his mannerisms when he was thinking about a promo, and his biggest regret in his professional wrestling career: the fact that he never…EVAAAAAAAAAAR…pinned Chris Jericho.
