Google Releases “App Maker,” a Simple, Drag-and-Drop Application Creator

Late last week, Google announced the launch of App Maker, the company’s attempt to enter the low-code, drag-and-drop app building creator (Microsoft previously released a similar creator called PowerApps, and other start-ups that offer similar services). In the same fashion as prior basic app developing initiatives, Google’s App Maker promises to make it easy for anybody to pick up and swiftly develop simple apps that can serve a very specific purpose inside any group, organization or company.
