Yes, you read that correctly: L.U.C.H.A.: A Wrestling Sci-Fi Thriller. Now’s THAT’S an attention -grabbing title for a comic book, or practically anything. According to co-creators CW Cooke and Travis Hymel, here’s the main story of their series:

L.U.C.H.A. is the story of Agente, a luchador detective who spends his life solving low level crimes and murders, taking on any job that falls in his lap. He just so happens to get wrapped up in a murder campaign that involves vampires, wrestlers, and other notorious figures before the rug gets pulled out from under him…and the readers!

“The Game Console” is THE Video Game Book for Gamers Who Stare at Consoles…

Anyways, Evan Amos wasn’t happy with the lackluster image quality of gaming console Wikipedia, so he started taking and sharing pictures of his own consoles. This venture of passion would lead to Amos to create The Game Console: A Photographic History from Atari To Xbox. Amos’ book, now available for purchase from physical and digital bookstores, is a wonderful hardbound tome consisting of 250 pages of video game systems from the first generation (the Magnavox Odyssey, Pong consoles, etc.) all the was through to the current, eighth generation of game consoles. Today in New York, Google is expected to announce its next generation of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL smartphones. The event is scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM EST (10:00 AM CST) and is invite-online, and fortunately that’s only if you PHYSICALLY want to be there. However, for the rest of us peasants, Google will be streaming the entire show online via its YouTube channel so we can can follow along (and the show will be archived for watching later on your own schedule). In case you wondering; YES, the WWE is still releasing print-and-paper books. In fact, their latest offering will be the soon-to-be-a-classic The Book Of Booty: Shake It. Love It. Never Be It. I’m ALMOST certain that just from the title alone, that this latest literary project will be coming from the new longest-reigning tag team champs in history, The New Day (and yes, I know they lost the titles to Sheamus and Cesaro this past Monday; the record still stands).
