This is the definition of a classic match with a classic build; both leading up to the match and the match itself. Not a lot of people talk about “Mr. Perfect” Curt Hennig and Ric Flair’s “Loser Leaves WWE” match from early-1993. Not only was it one of the best (FREE) RAW matches of all time, it was one of the WWE’s best matches PERIOD, and should have put Hennig over as one of the top babyfaces in the company. Unfortunately, the rivalry came up on the short end of feuds against “The All-American/Lex Express” Lex Luger and “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels throughout the rest of 1993, and essentially letting this memorable RAW moment be cast aside.
