While Studio Ghibli had actually built a real-life version of the house from My Neighbor Totoro in Aichi Prefecture, you weren’t allowed to spend the night in it. It turns out ANOTHER replica existed in Nagasaki Prefecture that patrons could spend the night for $45 USD (or 5,000 yen) a night. That doesn’t seem to be the case now, as this replica of Satsuki and Mei’s house is now managed by a local nursery school. As a noted life-long fan of Sonic the Hedgehog, I must say that the new animated web series Sonic Mania Adventures nails the tone of the game Sonic Mania.  While SEGA is keeping the train named Sonic Mania rolling with upcoming enhanced release of Sonic Mania Plus later this summer, they’re also releasing a five-part series of animated shorts, and episode one is currently out on YouTube. The First Trailers for ‘Persona 3’ & ‘Persona 5’ Dancing Night games are OUT! Plus, Persona Anime News!

With 2018 almost upon us, there are many games that we’ve enjoyed this year, but that means even MORE releases to look forward to next year! There are even articles — like this one from Sports Betting Dime — published that discuss which anticipated new games are expected to sell really well in 2018, and I have a feeling that a few Atlus games will make that discussion. On Christmas Eve, Atlus held their Persona live stream, which was 75 minutes of awesome insanity that featured news about the upcoming Persona 5 anime, Blu-ray sets, the official canon name for the Persona 5 protagonist (you know, Joker), and the two upcoming Persona: Dancing Night game titles. Trust me, that stream was full of goofy-wackyness!

Watch the entire ‘Gravity Rush: The Overture Animation’ Anime for FREE!

Before you step back into the world of Gravity Rush, check out this two-part, 17-minute Gravity Rush the Animation ~Overture~, which takes place between 2012’s Gravity Rush (which was AWESOME on the PS Vita and PS4) and the upcoming Gravity Rush 2 for the PS4.  For players familiar with the franchise’s first physics-defying action title, they’ll recognize series characters Kat and Raven, who are present and star in the animation.
