The ‘Fallout 76’ Beta, which starts this October, will contain the FULL GAME…

So, if you pre-ordered Fallout 76 at a participating retailer, then you’re very, highly likely that you’ll get a shot to try the beta once it rolls out this October. The beta — cleverly referred to as the “Break-it Early Test Application,” or “B.E.T.A. — will clearly provide an eyeful of its testers, since Bethesda announced that the beta “will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch.” That. Is. AWESOMESAUCE!!

Bethesda stated that their plan is to “start small and grow over time as we prepare for launch,” this way they can begin the process with a manageable amount of players before slowly introducing more players (or ‘strain’) on the servers. I should also note that the B.E.T.A. is NOT (I repeat is NOT) under a non-disclosure agreement, so the participants (i.e.: ANYONE who pre-ordered Fallout 76 to gain access) can share all the screenshots and videos they desire.

As with most Bethesda games, I’m already anticipating the amount of funny and ridiculous glitches, which makes me giggle that it’s called the “Break-it Early Test Application.” It’s also interesting that since Fallout games are traditionally single-player and Fallout 76 is firing toward a new multiplayer focus, we could see this beta being huge and intriguing for what could come of it. Fallout 76 launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (via the Bethesda.net launcher) this November 14th.
