The Obvious Has FINALLY Happened: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Now Supports Nintendo Labo

So, remember Nintendo Labo? Well, just in case (and likely) if your Nintendo Labo cardboard is lying around in a post-launch pile in the corner of your gaming space, it might be about that time that you dig it out and and start playing a few rounds of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with it, thanks to a compatibility update for the game that’s out now. That’s correct, cardboard handlebars and all (which might be cooler than the plastic wheel accessories).

In other Labo-related news, Nintendo also announced the categories for the second Nintendo Labo Creators Contest. Anyone has a shot at winning some cool prized (including a Labo-inspired Switch console) should they submit to the categories of  “Best Gaming Experience using Toy-Con Garage” and “Best Toy-Con Musical Instrument”. Nintendo also stated that “more titles will be compatible with Nintendo Labo in the future.”

So, like. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Pokken Tournament DX? Or Super Mario Odyssey? STOP HOLDING OUT ON US!!!
