A lot of pro wrestlers have gotten hurt in the last year — specifically in WWE, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Sting, Seth Rollins, Nikki Bella, Tyson Kid, etc. — however the addition of the “Swiss Superman” Cesaro on the IR was pretty painful. It seemed like only yesterday in November 2015 when it appeared that WWE was giving him the push he deserved, he went down with a shoulder injury. His recovery timetable was announced as 4-6 months, but the good news is that estimate was giving FOUR MONTHS AGO!!
According to the official WWE Netherlands Twitter account, Cesaro will be returning to in-action during the WrestleMania Revenge tour in Europe on April 15th in Amsterdam at the Ziggo Dome; that’s the week after WrestleMania 32:
Cesaro’s done many interviews about how disappointed that he’s missing WrestleMania, but it begs to be considered that since he’s stepping back into the ring that soon after, it’s possible he’ll make a surprise return at WrestleMania. Maybe then? Maybe the next night on Raw? To be honest, some of the best debuts, returns and surprises usually take place on the Monday Night RAW on the night after WrestleMania. Then we can delight in watching Cesaro spin somebody around a hundred times and hopefully right into the WWE World Heavyweight title picture.
