It’s always interesting to see legendary wrestlers in the beginning of their storied careers to see just how far they’ve come. Now, assuming that the title on the video above is correct, this is from a 1984 event from the legendary Texas-based World Class Championship Wrestling (WCCW) promotion. The Undertaker, known then as the Master of Pain, would spend several years with WCCW before it eventually became the United States Wrestling Association (USWA), and he would later win the USWA’s World Heavyweight Championship soon afterward.
The second video here is from what many believe is his first recorded match, so keep notice of a few things in the above video:
– He’s going up against the legendary Bruiser FREAKING Brody, and he get’s absolutely SQUASHED! Tragically, approximately four years after this match, Brody was fatally stabbed in Puerto Rico following a disagreement with a booker.
– If you blink, you may miss seeing Percy Pringle in this video. Or course, you’ll likely know him better as Paul Bearer.
