In this country, you gotta make the money first. Then when you get the money, you get the power. Then when you get the power, then you get the women. Then when you get the women, THEN you get the 8-bit homage — because the ladies love cool games. The classic 1983 gangster movie ‘Scarface’ with Al Pacino’s Tony Montana and his M-16a1 machine gun would have made a really great side-scrolling shooter. And it’d need to have the craziest final level if it followed the movie’s story properly.
YouTube channel CineFix imagines in their latest clip how it’d look like a game from the 80s. In the clip, it shows how it could have been if you had controlled Tony Montana, a political prisoner from Cuba, who all he REALLY wants is his friggin’ human rights, NOW! From the looks of it, it resembles something similar to a late-NES/early-SNES game release.
Wait…what? WHAT?!?! You wanna f*** with me?!? OKAY!! You wanna play rough?!? OKAY!! SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND!!!
