Stallone and De Niro Fight it Out in Video Game Mo-Cap Suits

In the upcoming film, Grudge Match, Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro put their age aside to renew a decades-old boxing rivalry.  In the film, the ringside action begins where you’d least expect it (WHAT?! Not a boxing ring?!) with both men wearing outfits that you would never think any of them would wear (WHAT?! No boxing trunks and boxing gloves?!) So yeah, as you can see from the above picture, the film has Stallone and De Niro, playing the has-been boxers, having a little throw down during a video game mo-cap session, in full green-man tights and brightly-lit sensor balls. As the scene continues, a melee begins and results into a media frenzy that ultimately culminates in an actual are you ready for it) grudge match. Oh my God, THAT’s the title of the MOVIE!! In the world of video games, motion capture (or Mo-Cap) is the process of recording actions of human actors, and using that information to animate digital character models in 2D or 3D computer animation. Often, many games use the Mo-Cap tech to also includes face and fingers to capture subtle expressions — often called performance capture (like Heavenly Sword, Beyond: Two Souls and L.A. Noire, to give a few examples). Check out the trailer below!

Also, Kevin Hart jokes.
