The Superman “S”: A Visual History

FINALLY, the new Superman movie “Man of Steel” opens today, and now you can’t go anywhere (in real-life, on television, the internet, etc.) without seeing the iconic Superman symbol on practically everything (not that I’M complaining)! Now, thanks to the folks over at HalloweenCostumes.com, we have a lovely infographic that chronicles the upgrades and changes to that classic “S” on Kal-El’s chest (which — debatably— means either “hope”, or “The House of El”) in its use in comics, television and movies (might as well include general pop culture).  Click past the break to view the entire thing, and only then will be truly ready to experience the film…

So...What Do You Think?
