Texas Wrestling Alliance: Board of Education vs. American Dragon (Daniel Bryan) & Spanky (Brian Kendrick), 2000

Once again wrestling fans, we take a trip back to the year 2000.  This time, the match above is from the Texas Wrestling Alliance (TWA), an independent professional wrestling promotion based in San Antonio, Texas, owned and operated by WWE Hall of Famer “The Heartbreak Kid”  Shawn Michaels; TWA has since been rechristened as Texas Wrestling Entertainment.  Back in 2000, the TWA had a weekly show on local television called Total Impact, and in this edition, the current TWA Tag Team Champions Jeromy Sage & Ruben Cruz (known collectively as The Board of Education) take on the team of the American Dragon (WWE’s Daniel Bryan) & Spanky (a.k.a. Brian Kendrick) from the Far West Rodeo (now Cowboys Dance Hall) San Antonio, TX in early 2000.

Man, time sure does fly in 12 years…
